The turn of the 13th Century, the Norse religion was
undergoing a radical change. It was beginning to be
influenced by those who believed in the one God.
Two knights or Stallari, as they called themselves, in
hoping to preserve the OldWays, went in search of
noble men of likeminds and faith. Odin and all the
Norse gods visited these two Stallari. The Bifrost
bridge appeared before them with Heimdall standing
watch at its gates. They were taken by Heimdall to
Odins High Seat in Gladsheim Valaskjalf.
The Gods bestowed upon these two a new code of
knighthood and charged them with a mission to preserve
the Nordic way. Odins ravens, Huggin and Munnin,
guide these two along the way and Huggin and Munnin
are charged to watch over and protect them until they are
Called upon by Odin....
